25th Noida flower show
The authority of Noida had organized its 25th a three days Silver Jubilee Flower Show from 25th Feb to 27th Feb at Noida Cricket Stadium Sec-21. The show is inaugurated by the CEO of Noida & Greater Noida Mr. Rama Raman.
The theme of the Flower show was Mughal theme like having Taj Mahal entrance. There were more than 50 stalls of nurseries, more than 150 types of Flowers, about 100 types of Bonsai Trees, Flowers Rangolies & animals made of flowers. And here some of the snaps from Flower Show.
Bonsai : Living Sculpture
Bonsai means a tree in a pot. A Bonsai is a normal tree whose development is not halted but rather guided in order to obtain a healthy dwarf tree. Bonsai is the final result of variety of disciplines-horticulture, technical, artistic and philosophical. Creating a Bonsai is not just raising a plant in a pot but of cultivating the very spirit of this plant. It is not merely an attempt to simulate the form of the fully grown tree but rather to establish a caring everyday relationship with the plant and with natural phenomena-wind, rain, frost and drought-which mold it. In this we are brought closure to the nature.
The real Bonsai enthusiast seeks not only enjoyment but also enrichment of experience. In contrast to other forms or art, the pleasure comes not so much from completing the work as from the art of creating it. Bonsai is not a complete tree but also a living sculpture. Thought originally from China Bonsai picked up momentum in India in 1970, it is spreading rapidly here. Working with them enriched one spiritually, gives you peace of mind other than creating good amount of oxygen around one in this time of pollution.
